Kevin Rathbun Steak–Est. 2007
KEVIN RATHBUN STEAK (KRS) For years it seemed Atlanta was in desperate need of a prime steakhouse of the highest caliber and when Chef Kevin Rathbun unveiled Kevin Rathbun Steak in 2007, that’s just what he delivered. Located in Atlanta’s happening Inman Park neighborhood Kevin Rathbun Steak occupies, what is from the exterior, a deceptively shabby industrial space just alongside the railroad tracks, in an industrial part of town. But once you’re inside the stylish, welcoming dining room, you’ve entered another world. A world that serves only the finest meats, seafood and sides. Cue the chorus of angels.
In addition to the main dining room the Bar and Beltline patio at KRS have garnered more than a few fans in their own right. The breathtaking Beltline patio at Kevin Rathbun Steak is the Atlanta destination for cigar aficionados looking to unwind with a good smoke. The gorgeous space offers lots of comfy seating, with an open fireplace to keep you cozy on chilly nights, and a Big Ass fan to keep you cool during those hot summer nights of people watching along the Beltline.
These gorgeous and popular spaces would amount to nothing if they weren’t delivering the goods in the form of unforgettable food, and delivering the goods they are. Starters like to-die-for Lobster Fritters, perfect Japanese BBQ Wagyu Short Ribs, the incomparable Yaya’s Eggplant fries, and a bevy of seafood delights are just the beginning of the KRS experience. Main course options are off the charts with choices like the Dry-aged Steak for 2, a generous selection of Ribeye and NY Strip cuts, plus burgers, chops, and a bounty of outstanding seafood & shellfish mains, not to mention the assortment of flawless side—Charred Jalapeno Creamed Corn!–, sure to satisfy any craving and keep you coming back for more.
Since its opening Kevin Rathbun Steak and has been widely recognized as one of the top steakhouses Atlanta, with devoted fans from all walks of life regularly clamoring for a table and a taste of the good stuff. KRS has gone on to attract attention, and a loyal following, throughout the United States as well. All this meaty goodness has generated a steady stream of accolades including “Best Overall Restaurant, Best Chef and Best Steak” –Creative Loafing Atlanta, “Best Steakhouse in Georgia”–The Daily Meal, “Best Steakhouses in the Country”–Details Magazine, “One of The Best Steakhouses in the United States”–Travel & Leisure, “One of The Best Steakhouses in the Country” –Playboy, “One of The Best Steakhouses in the United States”–Thrillist, “Top 10 Steakhouses in the U.S.”–Gayot Online and the impressive list keeps growing.
